Clean Sweep Chimney Sweeping Service was started in 1984 by Tom and Karen Albert as a one man operation. Tom’s wife Karen joined the business in 1986 and it has grown from there. Tom and Karen expanded their business 16 years ago and opened “The Fireplace Shop” on South Main Street in Waynesville, NC. In 2013, Tom and Karen sold Clean Sweep to their good friends, Alex Tinsley and Patrick Tinsley, and continues to provide excellent service.

Patrick is the Service Manager and Co-Owner of Clean Sweep. While he has several years of management experience, it is his home life, training under Melissa, with three kids and a few pets that truly prepared him for the position. Patrick’s passion for flying has come in handy when walking steep roofs, and his passion for cooking has been important in expanding the company into outdoor living. His two favorite movies are Mary Poppins and Top Gun.…
Alex is the Sales Manager and Co-Owner of Clean Sweep. Alex has been close friends with the Albert’s for many years and enjoys working with close friends and family everyday.
